The Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Monday released 23,703 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 36,867 cusecs. According to the data released by Irsa here, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1424.59 feet, which was 55.59 feet higher than its dead level of 1369 feet.

Water inflow at the dam was recorded as 14900 cusecs, while outflow was as 8000 cusecs. The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 13,515, 23,358 and 4,300 cusecs respectively. The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1084.00 feet, which was 44 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow of water was recorded as 6,264. Similarly, from River Kabul a total of 9,450 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 6,253 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
